Everything was very convenient, favourable location in the cafe, the staff were flexible. Booked an a double room with central heating, a personal safe, and an electronic key card. The breakfast available was lovely with freshly squeezed orange juice and multiple espresso, as for instance...

the location of the hotel to the city center is well located
the hotels is in need of a seriuos upgrade the rooms are very basic and the rooms smell of sewarge which consumes the entire room to the piont that you cantnot stay in the room for any long period of time you have to sleep with all the windows open so the smell is not overwelming and you are able to sleep.the room locks do not work so had to sleep with one eye open .

The place where hotel is located is very comfortable both for visiting Amsterdam Centre and other cities.
Very bad smell from downflow pipes in the common bathroom in the lobby at the 3rd floor. The room was not very clean.

great wine encyclopedias, spacious and luxurious bathroom, convenient partial refund policy
Looks like the design team forgot about comfort!!! A sloping wall behind the bed makes relaxing impossible, and how can a room lack a trash can? Plus, the wifi is unbelievably poor!!!

The staff were very friendly. The location was perfect for my intentions in Amsterdam.
The breakfast was shockingly simple and plain. We chose not to have breakfast after our first meal. The rooms were so plain and the cleaners did a terrible job. The beds were never made or changed. I woke up one morning with a number of bites on my leg which I can only presume came from bed bugs. The stairs leading up to the room was like climbing a mountain.

Comfortable stay with great service!
The staff were super friendly and helped us with our bags when we arrived. The room was cozy and had this nice air conditioning, a must in the summer heat. We also enjoyed some amazing tapas in the bar downstairs. Just a heads up, the stairs to our room were kinda steep, so keep that in mind!

Rooms are clean but small. No double rooms left so we got a twin and pushed the beds together. Beds were not made throughout our 4 day stay. Wallpaper falling off the Walls. Some off the staff were rude, and unhelpful. Sharing a very basic toilet and shower with 4 other rooms. Although it is a period building so space is an issue. Not a terrible Place, but don't expect alot. Good location though!
